My work is a dialog between color, texture and form. Inspired by the old oak woods in my backyard, the designs tell a story of growth, fruition, decay and renewal. I’m curious about the richness of natural layers: new sprouts growing through last year’s fallen leaves, berries lush but remote, and ethereal mushrooms here one minute and gone the next. I hope to communicate the feeling of comfort and solace - the connectedness that fills me up and inspires me when I’m in the woods.
