Polymer Clay – Faux Techniques
March 15-16, 2008 Sat. & Sun. 10am – 4pm
Polymer clay is known for its ability to mimic other natural materials. In this workshop you will advance your clay skills while you learn to make Faux ivory, turquoise, wood, coral, and jade. You will create a sampler string of beads from your experiments with each material. Then choosing your favorite faux mixtures, create an unusual necklace or keepsake box. This is a great class for beginners because you'll get a real feel for the materials. Advanced students will grow by breaking away from your usual work and honing your color skills.
